Overview
- Cleanroom systems
- GMP systems
- HACCP systems
Cleanroom equipment filters the air entering a clean area, keeps dust from coming in with people and materials, and holds room pressure, temperature and humidity. SAMYOUNG ENG registered its air-handling equipment factory in 2006 and has carried out cleanroom equipment work from air shower and pass box supply to clean booth fabrication and installation and HEPA filter replacement.
Scope of WorkWhat we deliver
Scope of work
01Air Shower
Removes dust from people or items with high-speed clean air before entry
02Pass Box
Installed in a cleanroom wall to transfer small items into the room
03Clean Booth
Creates a local clean space using air supplied through a fan filter unit
04Fan Filter Unit
A unit with a fan and filter that filters air
Cleanroom componentsCleanroom components
Cleanroom components
A cleanroom controls airborne particle concentrations and minimises dust generation, entry and retention.
Environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, airflow and pressure are maintained to meet requirements.

Choosing cleanroom equipmentChoosing cleanroom equipment
Choosing cleanroom equipment
When to use each cleanroom device and what to check when choosing it. Performance figures for each device, such as nozzle velocity and filter efficiency, come from the manufacturer's specifications.
Choosing cleanroom equipment
- Air ShowerUse it when
Operators need to remove dust from their bodies and clothing before entering the clean area after gowning
Check when choosing- Separate personnel and material entries where possible (gowning room and air shower for people, pass box for materials).
- Both doors must not open at the same time: interlocks for airlocks leading to Grades A and B of a sterile-medicines facility, at least a visual and/or audible warning for airlocks leading to Grades C and D.
- In sterile-medicines facilities, the final stage of an airlock must match, at rest, the grade of the room it leads to.
- Pass BoxUse it when
Small items have to pass through the wall into the clean area without a person entering
Check when choosing- Decide whether the box must be flushed with filtered air to protect the higher-grade side.
- The doors must not open at the same time (whether to use an interlock is a design choice).
- Only items on an approved list, validated for the transfer process, go into Grades A and B.
- Clean BoothUse it when
Only a specific work zone or bench, not the whole room, needs to be made locally clean with filtered air
Check when choosing- Decide the required cleanliness and airflow pattern first (unidirectional airflow for Grade A sterile manufacture: 0.36–0.54m/s at the working position, guidance value).
- The installation must allow filter integrity testing and airflow volume measurement (requalification items).
- PanelsUse it when
Walls, ceilings and partitions divide the clean area and keep out external contamination
Check when choosing- Choose the panel material and thickness for the cleanliness grade and process of the space.
- Seal panel joints and moulding connections, for example with silicone, to keep the enclosure airtight.

- Basis: EU GMP Annex 1 (2022) sections 4.10, 4.12, 4.13, 4.30 and 4.32; MFDS GMP regulation Annex 1, section 4. Interlock, pressure and airflow requirements are sterile-medicines rules; other facilities set them by process risk.
- Track record (2025 company profile): air shower and pass box supply (2006), panel and air shower installation (2006), injectables clean booth expansion (2025), clean booth installation (2014) and cleanroom panel installation (2020), among others.
